We all must have been really 'nice' this year as Santa's sleigh pulled up to Shelley's apartment on Friday afternoon, December 11, about 1 p.m. with a bright shiny new refrigerator. While Shelley was at work, Fred and I moved her old refrigerator out of her kitchen and things ready for the delivery of the new one. As her old refrigerator was going to find a new home in our garage, the delivery elves moved it out and loaded it in their truck for the ride over to Dogwood Ridge Road. I stayed behind and got everything moved back into Shelley's refrigerator and was finishing up just as she got home from work. Then we headed for Carbondale.
By the time we arrived back at the house, the sleigh had landed on the Ridge and dropped off a new washer and dryer.What a difference and bold statement the Bosch front-load appliances make in the laundry room! Can't wait to get started on trying them out and seeing how the front load washer compares to the top load, which is what I've always used. And of course, we are anxious to see the savings in the amount of water and electricity the two are supposed to use.
